Before you begin: Please note that permissions to your access profile may be required to perform the following steps. We invite you to validate your access with your software administrator.
Here are the different options available for the Shapes tool in the PDF viewer.
The following interface will be displayed.
Available settings
Color
Fill color
Opacity
Thickness
Line style
Color and fill color
Select a color or a fill color in the default options.
Color
Fill color
Add a custom color
Custom colors can be added from the Color and Fill color menu.
Click on the + to add a custom color.
There are several ways to select a custom color.
Use the two buttons in the small preview window to achieve the desired shade.
Use the eyedropper to select a color anywhere on your screen.
Enter an RGB, HSL or HEX code. Click the small arrows next to the field to switch between color codes types.
Note: The selection window for custom colors may vary depending on the web browser you are using.
Custom colors will appear as follows:
Delete a custom color
In the Custom section, hover over the color you want to delete with your mouse. Click on the red dot to delete it.
Opacity
Move the slider to select the desired opacity.
Thickness
Move the slider to select the desired line thickness.
Line style
Use the drop-down menus to select the line style to apply. Style choices vary depending on the shape to be added.
Line, Arrow and Polyline
Different options can be selected for each section of the shape (start, middle, end).

Rectangle, Ellipse et Polygon
The choice will be applied to the entire form.
Add a line or an arrow
Click where you want to add the start of the line in the document and, while holding down the mouse button, draw the entire line. Release the mouse button to finish the line.
Add a rectangle or an ellipse
Click where you want to add the shape in the document and, while holding down the mouse button, draw the shape to the desired size. Release the mouse button to finish creating the shape.
Add a polygon or a polygonal cloud
To add a polygonal shape, click at each corner of the shape. A line will automatically be drawn between each point, and the last point added will be linked to the first, closing the polygon.
Add a polyline
To add a polyline, click at each change in direction of the line.
Modify a shape
Click on the shape you wish to modify to select it. Blue points will appear. You can modify the shape using the blue points.
Delete a shape
Click on the shape you wish to delete to select it. Click on the trash can icon.
Click on Delete
Add a note
When the shape is selected, click on the Note button to add a note.
Enter the text of the note in the small window that appears.
Click on the X to close the note.
Click on the trash can icon to delete the text of the note.
Note: Once added, you cannot delete the note icon, it is only possible to delete the entire shape.
