Before you begin: Please note that permissions to your access profile may be required to perform the following steps. We invite you to validate your access with your software administrator.
A wide variety of documents can be opened in the PDF viewer.
Some files have special features, including the following.
PDF file with password-protected reading
If your file is password-protected, this window will appear:
If you have the password, enter it to unlock the document. You will then be able to view it.
If you do not have the password, you will not be able to view the document.
PDF file with password-protected changes
If changes to a PDF file are password protected, this message will be displayed at the top of the interface. You will only be able to view the document and no changes will be allowed, even if you have the password.
File that isn't a PDF
If you open a file other than a PDF in the viewer (for example, a .jpeg, png, etc..), this message will be displayed at the top of the interface.
Please note that if you save or download the document, it will be converted to PDF format.
File containing signatures
If your document contains signatures, the following message will be displayed at the top of the interface.
