Time entries

Activities menu > Time entries tab

Only the time entries of the logged-in user are available on the mobile application.

  • Time entry can be done for everyone according to the employee's authorized access*.

  • Mobile time entry only allows for fee code entry. Disbursements cannot be entered via the mobile application in its current version.

  • The time entry on cell phones is only done in hours.

*If an employee enters time for an employee for whom he/she does not have the right to enter time, the error message indicates: the access rights to the database are not valid.

Creation

Two options are available to the user to record his time:

  1. From the list of activities, enter time on an activity in the list

    • Useful when an appointment is completed. It is a quick entry because only the name and time is to be entered. The matter, activity code and rate are automatically applied.

  2. From the menu, Add, create a brand new time entry. The steps of this second method are detailed below:

Add menu > Time entries

Step 2

Fill in the fields

  • Matter

  • Activity code

  • Employee

  • Rate (automatically applied - can be changed)

  • Time (in hours / example : 30 minutes = 0.5 hour)

  • Notes (optional)

Important

The white box that allows you to enter a matter number, an employee, a code or a rate keeps the last selections in memory. The first time you use it, the box will be blank and you will have to do a search. Subsequent times, the last used data will already be displayed to speed up the process.

Save with the floppy disk icon in the upper right corner of the screen

  • A green check mark confirms the registration (left image)

  • In case of an error, a yellow message is displayed at the top explaining the causes (right image)
