Feature available for all editions of the software.
Before you begin: Please note that permissions to your access profile may be required to perform the following steps. We invite you to validate your access with your software administrator.
Employee preferences allow employees to set the following preferences:
Time entries
Activities calendar
Activities
Choice of application theme
Documents
These preferences are specific to the employee who defines them.
Step 1: Click on the Welcome Last name, First name menu, and select Profile. A new window will open.
Step 2: Click on "My employee matter".
Step 3: Click on the "Preferences" tab:
Step 4: Adjust preferences according to your needs.
Time entry
Time quantity format
Use the drop-down menu to select the time entry format in minutes or hours.
Calendar of activities
Start time
Use the drop-down menu to select the desired start time.
End time
Use the drop-down menu to select the desired end time.
First day of the week
Hover over the field to display the choice for the first day of the week.
The selected day will be displayed first when viewing pages that have a calendar view.
Activities
Duration of activities (minutes)
Enter the desired duration in the field.
The duration entered will be applied by default when creating a new activity.
Start time of activities
Use the drop-down menu to select the desired start time for activities.
The start time will be applied by default when creating a new activity.
Application theme
Use the drop-down menu to select the application theme. The selected theme will be applied when your preferences are saved with the green check mark.
Documents
When "No" is displayed, documents will open by default in the PDF viewer when double-clicked.
To download documents, select the document and then click the "Download" button located at the top right.
When "Yes" is displayed documents will download by default when double-clicked.
To view the document, select the document and then click the "View PDF" button.
Step 5: Save your settings using the green check mark.
Result: Your employee preferences have been updated.
