Matters

Step 1

Search Menu > Keyword > Folders tab.

The results are displayed automatically when the user stops typing.

  • The description of the matter is displayed under the number.

  • The name of the client is also displayed in the tile.

  • The color of the matter type is displayed on the left side of the tile.

Note that this information (Type of matter, Description, Client and Chinese Wall) is written in the summary of the matter. A financial overview and all the notes of the matter are also displayed in the summary of the matter.

Step 2

Click on a matter (blue box below) to open it.

Three (3) tabs are available:

  • Documents

  • People: Interveners in the matter, their contact information and their role

  • Summary

Consult and download a document

Step 1

Search Menu > Keyword > Folders tab

Step 2

Click on a matter > Documents tab

  • The documents are sorted from most recent to oldest

A click on the document allows you to consult the details, directory and reference date of the document and to modify this information if necessary.

A click on the download arrow icon downloads the document.

Important!

When the document is downloaded, it is read using the applications available on the phone. If no application is available to read the downloaded document, a message informs the user.

Documents downloaded from the JurisÉvolution application on the user's cell phone are saved in a folder named JurisÉvolution that is automatically created when the document is downloaded. This allows the user to quickly find the downloaded documents in order to use them or delete them from his cell phone if needed.

Uploading a document or photo from the phone to a matter in JurisEvolution is possible via the Add menu.
