Attention! The search for a conflict of interest must be done using the icon provided for this purpose and available in the Persons tab.

Conflict of interest registration key in the Admin tab

Sometimes a user inadvertently enters a name in the "Conflict of Interest Management" tile on the Admin tab thinking that this is the place to do a search.

For example:

If so, it will get the error message "An error has occurred".

When this happens, be sure to delete the search attempt.

Indeed, the "Record Key" field is not used to search for a conflict of interest, but rather to link two or more databases together to share a conflict of interest.

If you get the error message "An error occurred" when searching for a conflict of interest, it is most likely because there is a record key in the "Conflict of Interest Management" tile on the Admin tab.

If necessary, you should ask one of your colleagues who has system administrator access rights to remove the search that was mistakenly made in the registration key field.
