Keyboard Shortcuts

How to use the keyboard in the software (selection, saving & navigation)

Feature available for all editions of the software.

You can use certain keyboard shortcuts in the software.

The available shortcuts are classified in these categories:

Selection in a 360 window

All of the software's 360 windows are list windows that support standard Windows keyboard shortcuts for selection.

Selection of one or multiple elements

Select one element of the 360 window

Clicking on the element selects it.

Select multiple elements of the 360 window one by one

  • Hold down the CTRL key and click on each element you want to select.

  • Clicking on an element while holding down the CTRL key will deselect it if is currently selected.

SHIFT + clic on the first element and SHIFT + clic on the last element. This will select both elements and everything in between.

Complete selection (select all)

Select all items in the 360 window

Click on one element, then press CTRL + A to select the entire list.

Saving

The following shortcuts are available on all screens where the corresponding icons are displayed.

Save and stay in the window

CTRL + S

Save and continue

CTRL + Shift + C

Save and close

CTRL + Shift + F

Cancel

CTRL + Shift + X

Navigation between fields/tabs

Moving from one field to another

This shortcut can be used on all data entry screens in the software (e.g., the timesheet)

  • TAB : Moves left to right (forward)

  • SHIFT + TAB : Moves from right to left (backward)

The following keyboard shortcuts are those of the browser (Chrome) that work within the software. We recommend that you familiarize yourself with your browser's keyboard shortcuts to get the most out of navigating the web-based software, if you're interested in using them.

The shortcuts listed below may differ in Edge of Firefox, for example.

Close the window without saving (equivalent to the X in the upper-right corner)

  • ESC

Navigate between open browser tabs

  • CTRL + 1 to 8 : Moves to the open tab numbered 1, 2, up to 8, from left to right

  • CTRL + 9 : Moves to the open tab that is the farthest to the right in the active browser window
