We know that invoicing is an important feature for our clients - today we're delighted to make available four great enhancements to JurisÉvolution's invoicing wizard.

Improvements have been made in step 2 and step 3 of the wizard.

Step 2 of the invoicing wizard

A new column is now available to be added to the list of activities. The "T.E.C. Date" column allows the user to quickly view the date on which the activity affects the value of work in progress.

  • The column can be added/removed using the nut icon in the top right-hand corner of the activity list;

  • The column can be sorted in ascending descending order.

Users can now modify the description of an activity without having to open it. An editing pane has been added on the right-hand side, enabling immediate action on the text.

Step 3 of the invoicing wizard

It is now possible to make an adjustment based on the section total. The user can therefore define the total to be invoiced for this section, and the software automatically calculates the difference.

In addition, for one reason or another, it is sometimes necessary to change the tax total calculated by the software. This action was not possible before this update. A new section has been added to allow adjustment (+/-) of the relevant taxes on the invoice.

  • The adjustment will be displayed on the invoicing matter and accounting copies;

  • The general journal entry representing the invoice will also show the tax adjustment.

Conditions added to the creation of employee rates

Employee rates are now more flexible in terms of calculation methods than just a fixed rate.

Matter preferences

As part of the optimisation of rate management, two separate tabs are now available in the matter preferences.

  1. Preferences tab: This is where you'll find the "TABLE OF FEES" section, where you can define the Rate Level authorised in the matter.

  2. Authorised rates tab: This new tab displays all the relevant rates available for employees registered in the matter so that you can impose one or more rates and limit time entry in the matter.


Allow users to choose the order in which addresses/telephones/e-mails are displayed

Reordering the addresses, telephone numbers and emails in a person file to decide which data to display at the top of the list is now as easy as 1-2-3!

Each section now has the option to "Edit order" via the function icon in the top right-hand corner.


Events in the Reference person section

Would you like to have a follow-up when a person is modified in a matter? This new feature will make it possible.

In the events tab in Office management, it is possible to configure the creation of an activity for a specific person in order to track changes made by people in the "Reference persons" and "Caseworkers" sections of the matter.


Blocking changes to persons registered in the matter

The system administrators (of the Cabinet and Entreprise editions) have the control to restrict the modification of reference persons and/or caseworkers.

Separate permission for the user to access the financial summary of the matter and the financial summary of the general interface

You want to give an employee access to the matter's financial summary, without giving access to the software's overall financial summary. This is now possible.

The user no longer loses the filters selected when working in the F360 activity codes.

Filters are saved for the user in the activity code management window (under the Admin tab).

Before this update, after making a change to an activity code, the user was returned to F360 and had to redefine the filters they had previously applied, as the system did not save them.


Add civil status to the person file

It is now possible to indicate the person's civil status as well as the name of the partner when the status requires it. These fields are not mandatory.

The fields are available for all editions. The partner field is reactive. A single person will not have the option of specifying a partner.


Double-click on a date to open the timesheet view from the consultation.

In the timesheet view, you can now edit a day's time by double-clicking on the day's total, making it easier to update your time quickly.

Improvements to the Open/Close matter window

The interface for the matter opening/closing process has been significantly reworked to enable the box to be edited and notes to be added, particularly for closed matters.

It is no longer necessary to reopen the matter to be able to edit the closure information.


Automatic generation of GL entry descriptions - Enhance the information displayed

Important information such as the transaction reference number or the cheque number, where applicable, has been added to the description of GL entries generated by the auxiliary to make consultation of the general journal clearer and more detailed.

Enhancement of the JurisFinances module.

It is possible to configure different credit accounts for fees/disbursements in the chart of accounts in order to assign the appropriate General Ledger accounts according to the nature of the credit note.

Add the language of the matter to the timesheet

When time is entered, the language indicated on the matter is displayed in the timesheet. This is in addition to the use of the activity code to enable the employee entering the time to know in which language to write the description of the time entered in order to match the language of the invoicing.

Add a validation message to the language change

The application's language switching has been optimised. If a user displaying the software in French decides to display it in English, JurisÉvolution will be automatically refreshed so that the interface is in the correct language.

An information message informs the user that the application will be refreshed, as any unsaved changes will be lost.

Improved display time for the Documents window when there are many classifications in the left pane


A future end date should not render the item inactive

An item, such as an address, with a future end date no longer renders the item inactive. As long as the end date is not earlier than the current date, the item will be displayed as active in the JurisÉvolution interface.


A time entry without a rate must not calculate the amount of fees.


Invoice document title not translated

Invoicing in English?

In this version, the document name displays Invoice instead of Invoicing, in addition to the date.


The invoice note was not displayed in the invoicing wizard - General invoicing matter


Inactive GL accounts are displayed when a purchase is made

An inactive account cannot be selected during a supplier purchase. For greater clarity, if the account you are looking for is inactive, the user is informed.


The object is missing when the user makes provisional invoices


The office cannot be specified in a transaction template.


SOQUIJ icon behaviour in the matter

Behaviour has been standardised to limit the number of clicks required to make the SOQUIJ search function accessible.


Multiple selection of persons is not possible in the selection window for setting up the Chinese wall in a matter.
