Before you begin : Note that permissions to your access profile may be required to proceed with the following steps. We invite you to validate your access with your sofware administrator.
Step 1: Go to the ''Admin'' menu.
Step 2: Click on the ''Employee'' tile.
Step 3: Select the targeted employee
Step 4: Employee File Summary tab > Stenography section.
With the +, you can add automatic insertion codes from the office.
It is possible to modify them later if necessary.
Step 5: Save Additions
To update an existing code modified at the office level, you must first delete the code from the employee file, then re-import it.
It is not possible to have two identical shorthand codes.
An employee can create their own codes by adding a row to the table. Note that in this context, merge fields cannot be used. This is because merge fields are only available when code is created for the desktop.
