Before you begin: Please note that permissions to your access profile may be required to perform the following steps. We invite you to validate your access with your software administrator.

Step 1: Click on the "Person" tab of the main menu.

Step 2: Select the person with the role you want to assign to a new person.

Ex: I want to make a change of case manager. In other words, I want John Reard to become the matter manager (DRE) for the matter where Charles Patech is the matter manager (DRE). In this example, the person to select is Charles Patech.

Step 3: In the person's overview, click on the "Matter" icon (eye) to access the person's summary.

Step 4: In the Person Summary, click on the Caseworkers tab.

Step 5: Using the "Status" icon, choose whether you want to reassign the role to active, inactive or all matter.

Step 6: Filter the information using the "Caseworkers Role" definition to isolate the role to be reassigned and enter the person's name in the filter area.

Step 7: Use the "CTRL" key on the keyboard and the left mouse click to select specific matter, or "CRTL + A" to select all matters.

Step 8: Click on the icon "Reassigning person's roles to the matter(s)".

Step 9: Next to the role to be reassigned, enter the name of the person* to whom the role is assigned, tab and save.

*Click on the magnifying glass to access the person directory if needed.

Result:

The person registered in Step 10 is now the Case Manager (CM) for the cases targeted in Step 8.

Ex: Jean Rêvard is now the matter manager (DRE) for the matters where Charles Patech was matter manager (DRE).
